Tauberbischofsheim – Buchen – Mosbach – Heidelberg – Speyer

The Odenwald Madonna Cycle Route runs from Tauberbischofsheim to Speyer. The first part of the route from Tauberbischofsheim to Langenelz contains quite a few climbs to overcome. The section that follows along the Neckar River, on the other hand, can be covered comfortably. The route leads directly through the Odenwald past the Eberstadt Dripstone Cave, the Katzenbuckel, and the Neckar-Odenwald Nature Park. The Katzenbuckel is an extinct volcano and is considered the highest elevation in the Odenwald. In addition to the many nature experiences, you will also find interesting cities on the route, such as the pilgrimage site Walldürne, the romantic Neckar city of Heidelberg, and the old imperial city of Speyer.
