Environmental zone "Umweltzone":
Since 2010 there has been an environmental zone in Heidelberg in which only vehicles with certain emission standards are allowed to drive. Vehicles that are used in the environmental zone must be equipped with stickers that identify the pollutant group. Vehicles with a green pollutant sticker have free travel in the environmental zones.
