Of course, students back then – just like today – probably didn’t care much, as long as there was plenty of beer to go around... Join this exclusive and entertaining beer tour through Heidelberg’s Old

Twice a month, fridays, starts at 4:00 pm (meeting point Marktplatz (Market Square), Herkulesbrunnen (Hercules Fountain).

Castle ticket* including funicular railway
The castle ticket includes admission to the castle courtyard, barrel cellar as well as to the German Pharmacy Museum, and the ride on the funicular railway to the castle with continuation to the Molkenkur station (round trip including one stop).

One-time admission to the University Museum, the Student Prison and the special exhibition.

Free travel on public transport
The HeidelbergCARD entitles holders to travel on all the Rhine Neckar public transport system’s (VRN) buses, trams and authorized trains (in the case of DB: RE, RB and S-Bahn trains, all 2nd class). The tickets are personalized and only valid with an ID document.
