The event turns the Old Town into a lively celebration full of music, culinary delights and culture
Musical entertainment of various kinds can be found in almost all public places. The large stages begin with live music as early as 11 am, others start in the afternoon. By nightfall at the latest, the Old Town has turned into one big open-air concert with something for everyone.
On Sunday, the Family Autumn in combination with Sunday shopping attracts young and old to enjoy the city center.

Traffic management and parking information
Important note:
The Old Town will be largely closed to traffic during the event. Driving into the Old Town is not recommended - please use parking facilities outside the Old Town and public transportation.
Parking space in the Old Town is very limited. Experience has shown that these parking garages in the Old Town fill up early: P0 Am Bismarckplatz, P5 Europäischer Hof, P6 Henschel (Kraus), P7 Kaufhof, P8 Kongresshaus (Stadthalle), P9 Am Theater, P10 Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, P11 University Library/Graben-,Sandgasse, P12 Kornmarkt/Schloss, P13 Karlsplatz/Rathaus, P14 ATOS Clinic.
Therefore, please use parking areas outside the city center and public transportation.
Suitable options (excerpt): P16 Nordbrückenkopf, P20 HIP – Heidelberg Innovation Park, P21 Heidelberg Congress Center, P22 Europaplatz (Bahnstadt), Neuer Messplatz (large parking lot), P+R Pfaffengrund/Wieblingen, S-Bahn station Kirchheim/Rohrbach (P+R), Tiergartenbad parking lot. Please note the parking information provided by the city of Heidelberg and the dynamic parking guidance system on site.
Public transportation recommendations:
- Bismarckplatz: approx. 100 m to the event area
- S-Bahn station Heidelberg-Altstadt: approx. 600 m to the event area
- Heidelberg main station: numerous trams and buses directly to the city center.
Recommendation:
Avoid the entire event area by car and follow the signposted P+R routes as well as the parking guidance system – this will make your arrival more relaxed and keep the city center more accessible for everyone.
