The old town festival "Heidelberger Herbst" is multifaceted!

In the heart of Heidelberg's Old Town on the last weekend in September, a varied program of festivities delights visitors. The artisans' and goods market along the main street, the popular flea market in the small alleys of the Old Town and on the banks of the Neckar River, as well as stalls with regional specialties invite more than 200 000 visitors every year to stroll and sample. Musical entertainment of various kinds is guaranteed thanks to serveral stages. The Old Town transforms into one big open-air concert. And this has been the case for over 50 years!
On Sunday, the Family Autumn in combination with Sunday shopping attracts young and old to enjoy the city center.
Opening hours Saturday
General: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. (stalls from 10 a.m.)
Flea market: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Opening hours Sunday
General: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday shopping: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
