The kulturcafé, the Theaterverein, and the Medienforum operate under the roof of the Kulturhaus.

The theater association was founded in 1993 in the rooms of the Theater- und Spielberatung and moved into its premises in the Karlstorbahnhof in 1995. The theater operated there (TiKK/Theater in Kulturhaus Karlstorbahnhof) is one of the most frequently performed and most popular theatres in the region, with about 150 performances a year. The association attaches great importance to interdisciplinary productions. The multifunctional stage offers a playing area of up to 50 square meters. Since 1996, the Karlstorbahnhof has also hosted the theater days of independent groups.
