A very important place of art in public space in the European Metropolitan Region Rhine-Neckar.

The 26 exhibits currently on permanent display are presented in the garden and landscape park of the Orthopedic University Hospital in Heidelberg. They are sculptures created in the 2nd half of the 20th century and now in the 21st century by important German and international sculptors. In addition, the Heidelberg Sculpture Park organizes a large special exhibition of outdoor sculptures every year.

It has been in existence since 1995 and is aimed at patients and visitors to the clinic, while at the same time being a highly regarded contribution to art and culture in Heidelberg and the region. The patron of the Heidelberg Sculpture Park is Mayor Prof. Dr. Eckart Würzner.
