The Neckarsteig leads from Heidelberg to Bad Wimpfen.
The trail offers excellent continuous marking and is equipped with rest areas, hiking furniture, and parking for hikers. The individual sections of the trail are also easily accessible by S-Bahn or passenger ships. Thus, the Neckarsteig is excellently suited for multi-day hikes, individual day tours, or walks.

The Neckarsteig has been voted "Germany's Most Beautiful Hiking Trail 2018" in the category "Routes" in a public vote by the trade magazine "Wandermagazin".
