Falconry Tinnunculus

Short facts

  • Heidelberg

The falconry Tinnunculus on the King’s Chair is a popular destination, especially for families.

Falconer Uwe Jakob offers flight demonstrations from April to October in all weathers:

At the age of eight, Uwe Jacob was one of the youngest falconers in Germany and flew his tame kestrel Tinnunculus freely around the house. The hobby became a profession and culminated in 2002 with the opening of his own falconry in Heidelberg on the Königstuhl. He named this falconry after his first own falcon: Tinnunculus!
