Bergheim

Alongside the old town, Bergheim is the "second center" of Heidelberg.

A dynamic, creative, and family-friendly district and one of Heidelberg's most traditional service and commercial locations. The approximately 7,200 residents appreciate above all the central location, the diverse cultural, social, and gastronomic offerings, and the good connections to all other parts of the city. What once was characterized by commerce and industry has now become one of the most attractive residential neighborhoods in Heidelberg. In Bergheim, you will find, among other things, the main train station, the old indoor swimming pool, the public library, and the thermal baths.

With around 128 hectares, this is one of Heidelberg's most traditional service and commercial locations.
