About Us

Heidelberg Marketing GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Heidelberg. Its core mission is to promote the city nationally and internationally and to position Heidelberg as a global brand in selected fields. Key areas include tourism and congresses, as well as science, business, culture, events, and retail. In addition, Heidelberg Marketing operates the Tourist Information offices and organizes all major events such as the Christmas Market, Heidelberger Herbst, Heidelberger Weindorf, and the Castle Illuminations.

The Managing Director of Heidelberg Marketing GmbH is Mathias Schiemer, and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Eckart Würzner.
