    Our team at the Tourist Information Centers will be happy to assist you personally with advice on Heidelberg’s tourist attractions and activities.     The MeinHeidelberg app, provided by the City of Heidelberg, offers services for residents as well as useful information and tools for visitors who want to explore our city.
     

  • At our Tourist Information Centers, you can purchase castle tickets (including the funicular ride up to the Molkenkur stop and admission to the castle courtyard) as well as the HeidelbergCARD, the city’s official visitor card.

    You can also book tickets for our public guided city tours at our Tourist Information Centers at Heidelberg Main Station and Neckarmünzplatz.

  • We accept payments in cash, by debit card (EC card), and by credit card. For certain products and services, payment by invoice may also be possible.

    Please note that card payments are accepted for amounts of €10 or more, and payment by invoice is only available by prior agreement.

  • You can find luggage lockers at our Tourist Information Centers at Heidelberg Main Station and Neckarmünzplatz. These lockers are managed by the company BagBuddy24.

  • In Heidelberg, lost items are usually handed in at the city’s Bürgerämter (citizens’ offices) or at the lost and found office of Heidelberger Dienste at Hospitalstraße 5, 69115 Heidelberg.

    For items forgotten on buses or trams, please contact the VRN Mobility Center. For items lost on trains, please contact Deutsche Bahn.

    Occasionally, lost items are also handed in at our Tourist Information Centers, particularly items found in the Old Town or near the main station. You are welcome to check with us by phone at +49 6221 58 44444 or by email at touristinfo@heidelberg-marketing.de.

    Please note that we are required to hand over these items to the municipal lost and found office after a certain period of time.

  • Since 2023, we have followed the motto “Paperless & Happy.” For this reason, the tourist flyers and brochures of Heidelberg Marketing GmbH are available exclusively in digital format. You can find them here in a compact and clearly arranged form for download.

    The only printed product is the Heidelberg Guide. In addition to a detailed city map, it includes information on Heidelberg’s main sights and leisure tips. The Heidelberg Guide is available in six languages (DE, EN, ES, FR, IT, NL) for €2.
