Driving into the Old Town is not recommended - please use parking facilities outside the Old Town and public transportation.
Parking Information
Parking in the Old Town is very limited. Experience has shown that these parking garages in the Old Town fill up early:

| P6 | Henschel (Kraus) |
| P7 | Kaufhof |
| P8 | Kongresshaus (Stadthalle) |
| P9 | Am Theater |

| P11 | Unibibliothek/Graben-, Sandgasse |
| P12 | Kornmarkt/Schloss |
| P13 | Karlsplatz/Rathaus |
| P14 | ATOS-Klinik |
Therefore, please park in off-site parking areas well in advance and use public transportation.

Please follow the parking guidelines provided by the City of Heidelberg and pay attention to the on-site dynamic parking guidance system.
Public Transportation Recommendations
- Bismarckplatz: right in the heart of the action (about 100 m to the event area).
- Heidelberg-Altstadt S-Bahn station: approx. 600 m to the event area
- Heidelberg Central Station: numerous trams and buses directly to the city center.
An overview of the additional public transit services offered by Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv) will be available here approx. mid-September.
Recommendation
Give the event area a wide berth and follow the signposted P+R routes as well as the directions provided by the parking guidance system to ensure a stress-free arrival and keep the downtown area more accessible for everyone.
Safe Spaces
During Heidelberg Autumn, designated safe spaces are available for people who encounter harassment, discrimination, threats, or sexual violence at the festival. There you can find help, a place to rest, and confidential support.
These safe spaces - including City Hall and the German Red Cross locations - are marked by the logo shown above. In addition, designated staff are available at all times.
