Heidelberg is the location of Germany's oldest university and has been a center of medical innovation for centuries. Walk through the history in the footsteps of medical action and learn about Heidelberg's diverse history of anatomy. When and where was the first department of anatomy set up? What happend in the early "anatomic theater"? Human health is directly connected to the development of medicine. The tour therefore ends at the entrance of the new KÖRPERWELTEN Museum (BODYWORLDS museum) in the Altes Hallenbad (Old Swimming Bath), where you can subsequently explore the exhibition "Anatomy of luck" with its roughly 200 unique human exhibits on your own with an audioguide.

Price plus admission fee at 19 € (Mo-Fri) or 21 € (Sat-Sun) per person (incl. audio guide German / English)

Opening hours: daily 10 am - 6 pm (last admission at 5 pm). Closed on December 24th.
