The days are getting longer, the hotels are filling up more and more with guests and many people are enjoying the first rays of sunshine in the main street.
The main season in Heidelberg is starting: from 1 April to 31 October 2023 inclusive, more city tours and sightseeing tours will be offered again.
The tourist information also extend their opening hours and the ships of the Weisse Flotte and the Solar Ship start their tours on the Neckar River again.
Walking Tour of the Old Town
The most popular tour through Heidelberg, which has won several awards from "GetYourGuide", shows the Old Town with all its facets:
April – October German: daily 10:30 am, additionally Friday 6:00 pm and Saturday 2:30 pm, English: Thursday – Saturday 10:30 am

City Tour with Guided Castle Tour
Enjoy the most beautiful places in Heidelberg on a bus tour along the Neckar River to the Old Bridge and through various parts of the city. Afterwards, a tour of the castle leads through the Stückgarten, the castle courtyard and from the Great Barrel to the Schlossaltan. The funicular railway then takes you back to the old town.

Public University Tour
From 8 April to 28 October 2023 (except 30 September 2023), participants in the University Tour will learn all about Heidelberg's rich student culture every Saturday from 3pm. Included are the Old Auditorium Hall as a jewel of Germany's oldest university and the university library. The visit to the Student Prison is particularly popular.

Cabriobus Sightseeing Tour
A ride in a convertible bus is a relaxed and comfortable way to explore the Neckar city. The tour is not only an experience when the sun is shining, because the glass roof makes the ride with a view of Heidelberg's sights great fun even when it's raining. Headphones provide interesting information in numerous languages (German, English, Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Russian, Spanish).
Daily between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the half and full hour at the information board on Karlsplatz.
