Update: March 25, 2020
The "Biennial for Contemporary Photography" (29 February - 26 April 2020) now offers virtual tours of five of the six exhibition houses in Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg at www.biennalefotografie.de.
As part of the Biennial, which opened on 29 February 2020, six thematic exhibitions entitled "The Lives and Loves of Images" explore the life of images and our ambivalent relationship to photography.
Until April 26, 2020, the English curator David Campany is presenting contemporary and historical works by around 70 international artists and photographers.
While the Biennial's exhibition venues are temporarily closed due to the current corona crisis, the virtual tours allow interested parties to experience the exhibitions in a fully digital format.
With the exception of the Kunsthalle Mannheim, which can also be visited digitally shortly, all other exhibition houses are online: www.biennalefotografie.de/en!
